How you can get rid of PowerPoint

PowerPoint has been used by people all over the world for making presentations easily. One of the major problem associated with PowerPoint is the incompatibility of the presentations files on various platforms, even between different versions of same software. Presentations prepared on latest version of PowerPoint will look entirely different and broken on older previous versions of PowerPoint. Many people solve this issue by saving presentations as PDF file, which is compatible with almost all the devices. But this involves compromising on many features which are essential in presentations.

What if you can code/edit your presentations anytime using your favorite text editor? What if you can have cool animations, effects, real time demonstrations, embedded videos, and even real time interactions on your presentation? Reveal.js helps you to accomplish exactly that. It's a free and open source framework for creating presentations using HTML, Java script and CSS. This gives complete freedom over each and every pixel on your presentation.

Presentations created using Reveal.js will run on browsers. You can upload these presentations to Dropbox, Google Drive or any similar services thus making it available online. Just click on F11 after opening it up on your browser to get it in Full screen.

You can watch a demo here: lab.hakim.se/reveal-js/#/ or you can download the copy here, and start making your presentation right away by editing the index.html file.

Note: If you are going to have multiple presentations, make multiple copies of index.html file on the same folder. This will help you to reduce the size of whole package.
