Clint - The Prince of Colors

Clint was a child from Cochin, India who died of kidney failure when he was 6 years and 11 months old, leaving behind more than 25,000 paintings.

Well, this article is not about technology, not even about entrepreneurs who made money. This article is about a small boy, Clint - The Prince of Colors.

Back in my early school days, teachers used to talk about Clint. It's been years since God called him back to be with him, but his memories are still with us. Today, I came across a post on Facebook about Edmund Thomas Clint and found that there are still a good number of people who loves him.

There is a road in Kochi named after him, exhibitions of his painting were conducted in Kerala, there are two biographies ( one in Malayalam and the other one in English) available and a 2007 Malayalam film was greatly inspired by Clint's story.

My teacher used to talk about the last words of Clint, I forgot those words over time and today found those words on one of his fan page.

“Amma, I might suddenly fall asleep. When you call me I might not answer. Don't be scared. I'll be sleeping,”

An hour later, he went into a coma. On the next day, 15 April 1983, he passed away.
