Log into multiple accounts
Ever wanted to log into multiple gmail, facebook and twitter accounts at once? Normally, browsers do not allow this and you have to log out from one account to log in as another user. Many of us use multiple browsers and Incognito/Private browsing modes to accomplish something similar. But today we are going to discuss about a new method with which you can log into unlimited number of accounts together.
Multifox is a Firefox extension that allows connecting to websites using different user names simultaneously. This is done by creating new identity profiles on the fly. You can create new identity profiles just by right clicking on any tab and clicking on Open in a new identity profile. A gentle blue button appears on the address bar to indicate the current identity profile.
Cookies from one identity profile is not shared with another identity profile. This extension works so well that it is just like having different browsers for using each account.
When you close Firefox and opens it again, you can see that identity profile of each window is preserved. That is, if you clicked on "Keep me logged in" while logging into an account, it will work. This was not possible with Incognito mode/ private browsing as the session information are cleared when you close the window.
If you want to log into your personal accounts and company accounts at the same time without making a collision, this is the best solution you should look out for.
