How to rip a DVD

How to rip a DVD using VLC Media player:
Many of us doesn't know that VLC media player can rip DVDs. Even though it is not the best DVD ripper solution available, its a decent offer you should not miss out.
This is how you can do that:
- Go to Media -> click on Convert/ Save -> click on the Disc tab
- Adjust the starting position, select chapters and titles you want to rip etc.
- Specify the file name.
- You can also choose a Video profile.
- Once you are comfortable with the settings, click on Save button
The process of ripping DVD is resource hungry and time consuming. Wait patiently for some time and you will be presented with a copy of DVD consuming much lesser size.
