How to convert songs into karaoke
This tutorial will help you convert songs to karaoke. For this particular method to work, song has to be stereo. If it is mono by any chance, sorry, you can't depend on this guide to make a karaoke out of it. The process is simple and very easy to perform but not always perfect. Depending on the song, your mileage may vary.
So this is what you have to do:
1. Download, install and run Audacity.
2. Click on File -> Open and open any stereo song.
3. Click on the song title and then on Split Stereo Track.
4. Now, double click on the lower track to select it. You can see that the lower track has dark grey background since it is selected.
5. Click on Effect -> Invert.
6. Now, click on the title of both upper and lower tracks and click on Mono.
7. Save the track and start singing along.
