Why Picasa is a great tool for taking screenshots
Before Google releasing Picasa, I used to take screenshots by clicking on the 'Prnt Scrn' button and then copy pasting the picture onto MS Paint. It's alright if you are just dealing with one or two occasional screenshots. But if you are someone who takes a lot of screenshots for making tutorials or for blogging, this is not going to be easy.
It was that time Google announced Picasa and I just installed it out of curiosity without knowing its complete set of features.
Days passed and I wanted to take a screenshot of browser. Picasa was running in the background, but minimized. Immediately when I clicked on the 'Prnt Scrn' button, Picasa showed a notification that my screenshot has been saved. I clicked on the notification and found the screenshot on Picasa. Edit it and click on the export button to get the final screenshot ready to be used. If it is to be uploaded Google Photos, things are much more easy as there is a convenient one click upload button on Picasa. It's the day that I realized Picasa is a great screenshot taking tool.
